Delyn General Election 2005

In Delyn's 'real' election, David Hanson is re-elected as MP for this constituency (as widely expected) with another convincing victory.

Statistics for Delyn's 2005 General Election include:
  • New Labour vote down by 5.8% (on 2001)
  • Tory vote down by 0.8%
  • Lib Dem vote up by 2.5%
  • Plaid vote up 0.9%
  • Independent vote up 1.2%
  • UKIP vote up 1.6%
  • Turnout up 1.1%
  • Non-voters = 35.6%
